Add-ons

We spent a long time thinking about what we offer and what we do not. 

We have achieved a circular bike with only a few unsolved recyclable issues in two versions. But what about all the other functionalities that we are so used to but are not yet being made sustainable? We have decided to offer solutions for three relevant topics: everyday suitability, e-mobility, transport.

Everyday suitability, e-mobility, transport.

The add-ons already meet some of our requirements (e.g. modularity, reliability), but are largely NOT sustainable according to our definition. If we then look at the complete bike, a different picture emerges, which we would like to illustrate using the popular topic "e-bike":

That is not an excuse for the unsustainable parts, but it at least points us in the right direction. It's "less bad" than a conventional e-bike, so to speak. We are working to eventually have all of these add-ons sustainable as well, and to be able to offer other sustainable elements, e.g. suspension and electronics. 

This is an invitation to developers and manufacturers to break new ground and work on the corresponding products.

Everyday kit

Anyone who is on the road every day needs reliable lighting, mudguards, luggage racks and stands. In the UpCycling test, most of the required elements failed or were insufficient, only the hub dynamo caused no problems.

E-bike kit

We cannot ignore e-mobility topic, even if we cannot be satisfied with lithium-ion batteries. Upcycling is also almost impossible. The Pendix set is of high quality, made in Germany and transforms your mosch. bike into a lightweight e-bike.

Cargo kit

Expected to be available from the end of 2023. Modular and can be retrofitted to previously purchased mosch. cycles. We will reveal more when the delivery date is set.
